Hi, I am Chris (or Warbo to most!). I have been running seriously since about the age of 14 when I first qualified for the English Schools Cross Country at Newark in 1997. Since then I gradually improved and went on to gain national and international honors with the majority of my success coming over the 1500m.
I currently live in Manchester and work at a local secondary school. I have lived here for 10 months now and train under the expert tutelage of Norman Poole. I still have ambitions to improve my PBs over the 800 & 1500 and at some point would like to have a serious go at the 5km! (I’m still getting over last years attempt – which was not pretty!)
With the opportunity to write a blog as part of the RunBreeze team, I’ll aim to keep you informed with my latest training, racing and general goings on. Hope you enjoy!
Warbo
