Never before have I questioned the sanity of running. As I write this I am standing somewhere in a Californian desert town in the hills. It's 4.15am in the morning and I along with 1250 Americans are standing waiting to put ourselves through the pain of a half marathon. The half marathon is in my opinion a race of choice. You can make it hurt if you want to by pushing the boundaries of what your body can deal with or you can take it relatively easy. On Sunday I ran the Richmond Half marathon organized by Ranlagh Harriers running club. On the 22nd and 23rd of September London played host to the annual world’s biggest triathlon event, The Virgin Active London Triathlon, and team RunBreeze were there! Just like before the London Marathon takes place there is an expo, there is also one for the London Triathlon, however this takes place over the two event days, competitors wander round before or after their race.
