Justine Kinney Runbreeze Elite Athlete
Age 24 Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow / Loughborough University / Ireland
PB: 400m Hurdles 57.13sec
Irish International 400m Hurdler, Irish 400mH Champion
Hi my name is Justine Kinney and I have been an athlete since the age of 13.Originally competing in the 800m I moved to the 400m Hurdles at the age of 17. I won English Schools Championships in 2006 (59.7) and was awarded a Sports Scholarship to Loughborough University where I studied Psychology. During my time at Loughborough I medalled consistently at both BUCS and Nationals until I made a break through and ran 57.13 to qualify for the European Championships 2010 representing Ireland. Since then, despite injuries plaguing my 2011 season I have remained a development funded athlete supported by Irish Athletics and hope to qualify for the European Championships this year in Helsinki. This year I plan on regaining my Irish number 1 title and am looking to touch on the Irish national record.
The support I have received from RunBreeze is very exciting as the clothing is increasing in popularity. I will wear the clothes and socks with pride.
